By now, most frequent kratom users are aware of the fact that the vast majority of kratom is grown on plantations near the region of Pontianak, Indonesia with a typical 2 month harvest schedule. This is because, if there were to be a free-for-all in the jungles, deforestation would be a massive problem. That being said, there are small groups of farmers who work the jungle (conscientiously) and harvest more mature leaves, gently slow dry them, and then get a nano grind using a ball mill. This takes time and effort and expensive equipment, which increases production costs. We pay more per kilo and are only allowed a maximum amount we can purchase. Luckily, we rarely run out of the Connoisseurs (and if we do it's either Aceh or Metang). As for effects, you will notice little to no difference between the Connoisseurs, they all provide mood elevation, analgesia (pain relief), a sense of wellbeing, increased ability to focus and more motivation, and depending on the batch, moderate-high euphoria. It can be pretty potent so remember, you can always take more, you can never take less! Enjoy
Green Metang
Always store your kratom in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place. Kratom alkaloids are sensitive to heat and light and will begin to degrade rather quickly if not stored properly. We find that it's best used within 3 months of purchase to avoid any loss of potency.
